The mobile service allows you to browse, search, preview and use account credits to download tracks ‘over the air’ from Napster’s entire catalogue onto your mobile. A backup MP3 copy of each track will also be sent to your PC. You can access the mobile service from most web-enabled phones on any operator. Whether you download MP3s as part of your Napster Unlimited membership or purchase them individually, they are yours to keep forever with no restrictions. The Napster music that is downloaded to your computer is in MP3 format at 256 Kbps stereo and streamed tracks are 128 Kbps stereo. This high quality allows you to get the most enjoyment from your music however you choose to listen to it.

You will need a credit or debit card, a Paypal account or a ClickandBuy account to use Napster Unlimited. If you’re only using the Napster MP3 Store you do not have to enter any billing information to register. As soon as you purchase a track you can use the same payment methods as Napster Unlimited.

You can also buy prepaid cards for Napster Unlimited. When you enter your code from the card you will not need to enter any payment details. Napster Unlimited prepaid music cards are available at most Carphone Warehouse stores.

If you cancel your Napster membership you will automatically turn into a free Napster MP3 Store member with no monthly recurring charges, allowing you to preview 30-second clips of tracks before deciding to purchase them. All MP3s downloaded from Napster during your membership will continue to play and are yours to keep forever and you can play, burn and transfer them as often as you want.

Please note: Your MP3 credits from Napster Unlimited have to be used during each membership plan period. E.g. if you take 3 months of Napster Unlimited, you have 3 months to download your MP3s.

To cancel a paid membership
If there is something that has prevented you from enjoying your Napster experience, we'd love to help. Please contact our Customer Support by going to Napster Account Questions above and clicking the 'email us' tab. You can also contact Customer Support by phone on 020 7365 1079 from Monday–Friday, 9am-9pm. If you would still like to cancel your membership please give us a call and we'll handle your request right away.

To cancel a free trial
If you would like to cancel, you can do so by logging into your account, clicking on My Account in the top-left corner, and selecting Account Status. Simply click on the Cancel Free Trial link at the bottom of the pop-up and follow the prompts to cancel your trial subscription. Once you cancel your free trial, you will automatically turn into a free Napster MP3 Store member with no monthly recurring charges.

If you had MP3s included with your trial, they have to be downloaded during the trial period.

Napster MP3 Store Members
There's no need to cancel. As a member of the Napster MP3 Store, you will never be charged unless you choose to purchase tracks or albums. You can use the Napster MP3 Store to search for and listen to 30-second samples of all the songs in the Napster catalogue for free.
